Summer Knitting

While the days continue to be quite busy, and somehow we find ourselves in July already, I have managed to eek out some time for knitting in the evening. The feel of the yarn sliding through my fingers and the occasional clicking of my needles relaxes me after a full day on the farm. In the hotter months I tend to use cotton and acrylic/wool blends so the yarn does not stick to my fingers.

Cates Sweater
Tartelette  By Lisa Chemery. Honestly I love all her patterns. The seed stitch seemed to go on forever, but the end result was well worth it.

And Carleigh is happy to have something Mommy made just for her

I’d love to see some readers’ summer craft projects…and they don’t have to be knitting!
