Happy Easter!

“he rolled the stone away
Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m Alive
Because he lives”

How wonderful this morning will be to celebrate the resurrection of my Savior Jesus. I think about how His first followers must have felt those hours after the crucifixion–the uneasiness, the sadness, the fear. How lucky I am to know the rest of the story, to know the tomb was empty, to know I have eternal life because of his sacrifice, to know I need not fear. How blessed I am to receive the gift of Grace because I need it every day–boy do I need it EVERY DAY.

Today, in between colorful baskets and egg hunts, worship songs and Bible verses, I pray you take a few moments to just be quiet with the Lord. And if you don’t know Jesus, why not ask him into your heart today?

I believe in the Son
I believe in the risen One
I believe I overcome
By the power of His blood

Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m alive
Because He lives
Amen, Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends
Because He lives

I was dead in the grave
I was covered in sin and shame
I heard mercy call my name
He rolled the stone away

Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m alive
Because He lives
Amen, Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends

Because He lives
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives
Every fear is gone
I know He holds my life my future in His hands

Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m alive
Because He lives
Amen, Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends

Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m alive
Because He lives
Amen, Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends
Because He lives
Because He lives

Isn’t it possible that the medical students took the body? and to cover up they made up that bit about rising?
