Let’s LEGO!

“Train a child in the way that he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Nicolaus legos

Nicolaus loves LEGOS. They’re at the top of his Christmas list, they’re all he wants for his birthday, and when he has spending money he buys (you guessed it) LEGO sets. As a parent, and especially as a homeschooling mom, I try (as the verse above instructs) to use my children’s likes and natural tendencies for learning. Luckily, LEGOS provide an easy platform for lessons in just about everything. Colors, counting, creativity…and the list goes on. Below I offer a list of some of my favorite LEGO activities. Additionally, I’ve included the February challenge calendar I made for the kids. Each day they build a creation using the guidelines provided. Enjoy!
