This Little Piggie…

Went to a new paddock.

While the Kids’ Grandma was here for a visit, I had the opportunity to join John for some chores I am not normally able to help with including moving the pigs to a new paddock. It was wonderfull to see the pigs in the environment in which they belong. Using the tractor we first moved the feeder from the old into the new pasture followed by their shade structure and fresh water. After these were moved, we opened the gate so the pigs could walk directly from their old into their new space. This isn’t as easy as it sounds as they like to go in their own time and of course had to play in the mud for a bit! Don’t these pigs look so happy!
