A Day on the Farm

We had a busy day on the farm yesterday, and I thought you might enjoying following us around.  Ralph loves going outside and “helping” daddy.  🙂

First, we moved and fed the broilers

Then, we moved a group of pigs...

Then, we moved a group of pigs…

...and transplanted our pepper and tomato starts.

The afternoon included a cattle move, as well as gathering and packing over 100 dozen eggs.

Love the picture of Ralph “helping”. Such an amazing childhood!

Thank you, so do I. We are very glad for him to be able to grow and learn like this. 🙂

  2. For some reason, I think the shades and colors of eggs are so beautiful! I love that egg picture. Do the pigs come when you call or do you open up a gate and they go through? Your little man is adorable! He’s learning well!

I agree about the egg colors, they are gorgeous! Once the pigs get the hang of moving from one paddock to the next they will “move” themselves, but the first few times they need a little push from behind. 🙂
Thanks, Ralph is getting so big, so fast. Everyday he acts more like a little boy and less like a baby. On some days Grady and I just want to sit and watch him, he is so fun.

    Ralph is so cute!!!
I am so excited to come and play with him next month!
(And helping you to gather and pack over 100 dozen eggs will be…less cute.)
    Excited anyway!!!!!

    • Erin Phelan says:

Excited to have you come too!!!! Don’t worry we will do other things besides eggs.
      See you soon!
