I love everything surrounding Christmas time–Christmas carols, being with family, giving gifts, even the smell of pine…which leads me to one of my new favorite holiday products: Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day!

I’ve always loved these cleaning products for their great scents without the harsh chemicals, but I now love them even more because they have seasonal scents!: “Orange Clove” and “Iowa Pine”. I haven’t smelled the orange clove (I’m sure it’s great), but when I saw the Iowa Pine at the store, I knew I had to have it! It smells amazing!

This past week I’ve been frantically washing dishes and spraying every surface I can find just so I can use up enough to have an excuse to buy more!
Thank you Mrs. Meyer for keeping our house clean and smelling fabulously festive!!

Have you tried Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products?
What’s your favorite scent?

Did you know they have it in a candle too? Love it!!

  2. Have you ever seen the EWG website? They post each ingredient to a lot of things from cosmetics to cleaning products to sunscreen. I have been reading a lot about different cleaning products – if you want to see what they have for the ingredients of the cleaning products for Mrs. Meyers Pine stuff, here is one link. http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/658-MrsMeyersCleanDayIowaPineLiquidDishSoap

I think they have the countertop spray on there too: http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/667-MrsMeyersCleanDayIowaPineCountertopSpray

I love and hate the website at the same time. I’m glad for the information but then sad because I have to find (or make!) my own stuff. πŸ™

But I found something cool – essential oil that’s pine. You can add a few drops of it to a spray bottle and go crazy! It won’t have those effects that are listed on the ewg website, either! You can sniff all day and be happy! πŸ™‚ I saw one by Aura Cacia in pine and it was about $4.00. It will last a long time because you only use one or two drops. If you don’t have a store near you that sells essential oils, I’ve heard that vitacost (online) is a pretty good company.

I hope you have a great Christmas! πŸ™‚ Please don’t hate me for my ewg link! πŸ˜‰ I don’t want any of those bad things happening to you, thus, the link.

I’ve long enjoyed Mrs Meyer’s products, and almost always select the lemon verbena scent. It’s my choice for laundry, and when the clothes come in off the line they smell fabulous. I’m so glad you enjoy their products too.
