Happy Thanksgiving Week everyone!

This is one of my favorite times of the year…great food, family, friends, and LOTS to be thankful for! We’re having Thanksgiving at our house this year (my first time hosting! AHHH!) so this week is going to be full of cleaning and prepping!

The men have decided that they are going to spearhead the meat department and make a CHURDUKEN!…which, for those of you (like me) who have never heard of this, is a chicken inside of a duck, inside of a turkey all cooked together! The guys have been talking about this for months and as we butchered, they selectively saved the best turkey (27lbs!), duck, and broiler to create the perfect churduken!  It should be interesting to say the least and I’ll be sure to update you with pictures!

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?!

Has anyone ever tried a churducken before?!

    Love the picture you posted!! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! And enjoy your time hosting this year. Have FUN and don’t sweet the small stuff. I will go as a guest this year, but making desserts. Here in Texas we call it a Turducken. My FIL made it a few years back. I LOVED it! Of course it was stuffed in between layers of meat with Andouille sausage. DELISH!
