Still here!!

Yes – I’m still here! I know I haven’t blogged in weeks – Sheri, please don’t kick me off –  but I’m in the store all day on Saturdays which we thought would be a good time for me to blog and a way for me not to forget – but I either get busy and forget to do it or just plain forget. I have been concentrating on getting my daughter ready for KINDERGARTEN (Monday!!!) and have had a busy season here on the farm! I’ve also been reviewing products for Kiwi Magazine as part of a “Mom Ambassador” which is a great way to try earth friendly products for your family! Click http://www.greenmomsmeet.com/mom-ambassadors/ to learn more! Because of that I’ve decided to share some of my favorite products each Saturday to help all of us make better decisions about fun products for all of us! Please keep in mind that it is just MY OPINION and not that of Polyface Farms. With that being said I hope that you will enjoy reading about fun websites, blogs, recipes, products and anything else I can find that I love! I must mention that this idea also came from my friend Stewart who owns The Yarn Lounge in Richmond, Va. (http://theyarnlounge.com/). It is my FAVORITE natural fibers yarn shop and with fall just a few weeks away I have knitting on my mind!  She follows me on Pinterest which is an online “pinboard” of all the things I love! If you haven’t heard of it please check it out…http://pinterest.com/ – I have to warn you though…it’s very addicting!!!

So back to work I go! Joel is wandering in and out today and I’m sure he’s wondering what it is that I’m up to! We have lots of customers picking up fresh chickens and bulk meat orders today so there is lots to do!!
