We have had several groups of people in the store the last couple of weeks buying our pork bellies and wanting to know how to make their own bacon! Literally more than 5 different groups, completely unrelated, in search of recipes, advice, etc on making their own bacon. My answer to all of them and any future curious “bacon makers” is to contact Brian Robinson and Restaurant 3 (I did give out his cell # to a few which I have been banned from doing from here on out! ha! ha!) He is “famous” for what he does with Polyface Pork and has even been featured on the Travel Channel for his bacon! The clip from the Travel Channel is below….if you live anywhere near Arlington you won’t be able to get there fast enough after you watch it!! YUM!! I think I’d rather skip making my own and just go to Restaurant 3!
