Back to school…..

Yep. That’s what I said! Back to school in February at the age of….well, that part really doesn’t matter. I’m so excited to start a Nutritional Therapist Training this week with the Nutritional Therapy Association! Joel was a speaker for them at a conference they had couple of years ago and just loved meeting them and learning about what they do! Their philosophy is “That the myriad of health problems that plague modern society result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations as a result of poor nutrition. As an education organization, NTA is dedicated to helping individuals and healthcare professionals understand and reverse the tragic and unsuspected effects of the modern diet on their patients and clients. Throughout our training programs and seminars, students access a wide range of education tools and connect nationally with other practitioners in the healing arts.” You can read more on their website…

As part of my “community project” I will be blogging about all that I am learning and how crazy I was to start this at the age of….well, like I said, that part really doesn’t matter. I hope to gain more knowledge for my work at Polyface as well as for my family and friends. My mom is telling everyone I’m going to be a “witch doctor” – I”m just hoping to help us all be a little healthier and to understand how eating fresh and local is so good for everyone!

Stay tuned…

I would LOVE to do this! Alas, I doubt the GI Bill would pay for it.

I am also very much a naturalist! I try to treat my body the way it needs to be treated to be as healthy it can be 😉
I am very much looking forward to learning via your blog and do not worry about going back to school at your ahem… age lol! I just enrolled last fall in college and I ahem… not in my 20’s anymore ((blush)

Life isn’t be lived in a certain order, it’s to be lived in the order that works for us!

Keri, A mom of 2 year-rounders, who are always back to school ;-)~

    How exciting.

I too have had the veil over my eyes lifted when it comes to my food. I am pushing 60 and have to work real heard not to stay angry over the poisons legally placed in our foods. I can not help but think it is a concerted effort to weaken the people of this great nation. As the truth is revealed, I pray our nations people will speak loud with their wallets and stop purchasing from those who use harmful chemicals in our food chain.

Fresh is best, it is the true elixir for long life. Bravo for your interest and willingness to share. I will be watching for your blogs.
