Chapter 9 Discussion

In this chapter, Joel says, “It’s time to take personal responsibility and realize joining causes might assuage your guilt, but it won’t do any good.” Do you agree with this statement?

He goes on to talk about a couple from Canada who spent a whole year souring local foods so that at the end of the year, nothing in their home had a bar code. Is this something you do or would do? Why or why not?
