Here is the final post in the three-part series of intern-views with the gal interns of Polyface! Enjoy!

Kristen: What is the most valuable thing you’ve learned so far at Polyface?

Leanna: Efficiency, and how to be a team player with lots of different kinds of people.

Kristen: Leanna, what is your favorite part of the day?

Leanna: Dinnertime, when everyone gets together and we talk about what we accomplished or what’s on the agenda for the next day.

Kristen: What do you like to do in your free time?

Leanna: You want a whole big long list?

Kristen: Absolutely.

Leanna: Knitting, baking, gardening, weeding, sewing, quilting, canning, preserving, weaving, cooking. I just enjoy the housekeeping-gardening-farming lifestyle.

Kristen: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?  🙂

Leanna: Anything with chocolate.

Kristen: Do you plan to farm in the future?

Leanna: Yeah. I always planned to have it as part of my lifestyle, if not full-time then for myself.

Kristen: Leanna, what has been your favorite memory of working here?

Leanna: My favorite time was when we were haying and I got to drive the truck and trailer.
