Apple Pie Goodness

Here’s a little goodness for your Monday morning…

We have an apple tree in our backyard. There are currently apples on that tree. Our kitchen window looks out to that apple tree. Soooo, it hit me the other day that I should make something with these apples. First, I tested one and they seemed fine, so I proceeded and decided to make apple pie!

I don’t have a recipe because I didn’t use one…impressed!? Instead of a “recipe”, I have more of a “list of ingredients” that I used to create this masterpiece: apples, flour, butter, white sugar, brown sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar, and cinnamon…you know, all the the necessary components for an amazing treat!

Thank you, Backyard Apple Tree, for your contribution to this pie!

Happy Monday,

Yum!! I know what you mean about not using an exact “recipe”. However, I got a bunch of peaches from a farmer and plan on making mini peach pies, but I’ve never made a homemade pie before. Any suggestions??
